Nifty now in Positive Trend
The long term trend chart of the S&P CNX Nifty Index (CNXNFTY-IN) recently broke through the negative trendline, shifting the trend back to positive. The Nifty does not face any resistance until its July high at 5700. We would look to buy positions in this market on a pullback as that would provide better entry points and risk-reward scenarios.

Nifty BeES "Buzzing" above Support
During the recent market correction in August, the Nifty BeES ETF fell from the 580 level to 490. Interestingly enough, the Nifty BeES managed to find support at 490 as it did not penetrated this leve. As it turns out, 490 was where it bottomed back in May 2010, making it an important support level. So, going forward, we would look to use 490 as a critical level for the Nifty BeES. If it breaks...
What is the Percent of Stocks Above Their 30 Week...
The 30 Week for India (30IN) is the number of stocks in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) that are above their 30 week moving average divided by the total number of stocks on the NSE. Let’s say that the 30-Week Moving Average of a stock is 50. If the stock’s price is above 50 we say that it is above the 30-Week (or 150-day) Moving Average. Once we do this for all stocks in the...

In his list you will find China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore. As Jim Rogers points out,...
Bharti Airtel Limited
We are quickly approaching a year since the Nifty reached a high at 6300, and it’s becoming even more distant as we continue to see the broad Indian market search for a bottom. However, during the recent correction in the Indian equity market, there are some individual stocks that actually have recently moved to 52 week highs, and thus showing a positive divergence versus the broader...

Bombay Stock Exchange 500 Index
The long term trend on the BSE 500 is up. Remain bullish. On a statistical basis, the index is between a trading range of 6600 and 7600. The BSE 500 is statistically normal at 7100. At this point there is little danger of a strong down move, but stock selection is still paramount to success in trading. Many times the market simply pulls stocks up in its wake. This is not likely to happen at this...
