How can users better analyze their stock-picking performance on stockezy?

Stockezy rates the performance of every stock-pickers who shares stock-picks. Members can find their performance statistics listed on their Picks-Dashboard or ‘My Picks’ page - simply go to Stockezy -> Picks -> My Picks or directly access the URL at http://www.stockezy.com/picks/[your-username]

Stockezy has a proprietary algorithm which tracks each stock-pick every 2 minutes. As the value of the stock changes stockezy evaluates each the pick showing risk-reward ratio, accuracy and current pick-return. Based on the performance of the stock-picks members receive individual ratings and rank.

In short the rating indicates how often a Stock Picker makes correct recommendations and the ranking system helps members build their stock-picking reputation.

To better explain each attribute let us take the example of Picks dashboard of user Sheela Shenoy - http://www.stockezy.com/picks/sheels2007/

The following statistics are computed:

Member Rank: This attribute shows the relative performance of Sheela in comparison with all the Stock-Pickers on Stockezy.  The detailed list of all the members can be found at http://www.stockezy.com/members/

Total Picks: This is the count of all the picks that have been recommended by the user.

Closed Picks: This is the count of all the historical recommendations. Closed picks are no longer active recommendations.

Average Accuracy: It is the average of the individual accuracy of all the stock-picks recommended by the user. All picks which hit the target have accuracy of 100% and picks which hit the stop loss have accuracy of 0.

For example: If you enter a Day-Trade pick at Start Price 10, Target 15.  So the Expected Target Return is 50%.  Now if the pick closes w/o hitting target at Rs. 12. In this case the pick actual return is only 20%. So the accuracy is 40% .

Average Holding Days: It is the average time taken by the Stock-Picks to Close. It suggests the length of time the stock-picks by the user remain active and hence give insights in to stock-pickers style of investing. Looking at the average holding days, one can easily gauge the investing time-horizon and know whether the stock-picker is a Short Term, Medium Term or Long Term investor.

Target Hit Rate: It is the percentage of all stock-picks which have the Hit the Target Price suggested by the stock-picker.

Success Rate: This attribute measures how often the stock-picker provides correct recommendations. For e.g. If a member has 10 Closed Picks, out of which 5 have hit the target, 3 closed with positive return, and 2 closed in Stop Loss, the Target Hit Rate is 50%, however the Success Rate is: 80%
